Little of this & a little of that!

CHRISTMAS DAY
Yep, I am always behind in posting, 2010 I am hoping to be better! Anyway this is going to be another long post, not because I have so much wisdom to bestow upon you but because well let's face it 4 kids + Pictures of said kids= long post.
This post is starting with most recent and working its way back, which really is just Christmas day and Christmas Eve. This is Jon's parents opening new 4 wheeler goggles to go riding which we were kind enough to get them some, but weren't thinking at the time and didn't get us any.
Boy Grandkids in new PJ'S from Grandma & Grandpa
Girl Grandkids in their new PJ'S also from Grandma & Grandpa
Jake is really into praying right now and believe me, he needs it. Anyway this is him before opening a present.

All the kids on the Wight side waiting as patiently as they can to be able to open their presents.

CHRISTMAS DAY
(OUR HOUSE)
This is what Santa brought Curtis, as you can see he was quite thrilled!
Jake got his own remote control train, which for some reason he has a very hard time leaving it put together. Once he is done he LOVES to take it apart.

This is what Santa brought the girls, this is all that they talked about, so way to go Santa! I think, I am not so sure about all the electronic things that they are wanting now adays.

Before the children all descend upon it. We had a great year!!

Santa's gift for the family, the kids are so excited for the snow to melt so that they can get out and play.

The AFTERMATH!!

CHRISTMAS EVE
(at Grandma Teeples House)

You are all probably wondering what in the world, and it never really dawned on me until Jon came into the family that it is a little weird. Let me explain, well long story short we don't have a lot of spiritual stuff on this side so because my grandma knows that the reason for the season is Jesus she made this paper cake with 11 candles (one for each grandkid) and while we are singing Happy Birthday to Jesus each grandkid lights a candle. This used to be the only spiritual part of Christmas that we would get over there, until my mom got enough costumes for the younger kids to now act out the nativity. So here our my 4 kids, my sisters 3, my brothers 1, and my cousins 2 kids acting it out. They sure are cute!

The little shephard, acting more like one of his sheep.

We also have another tradition that we have been doing since my first Christmas. This is one of my favorite traditions. Each year my aunt comes up with an ornament that we make and put our picture on the ornament so needless to say we have hundreds of ornaments for my grandma's tree that are all homemade. The best part is going back and looking at all our pictures over the years. This year since the family is getting so big we made one ornament per family so Curtis was so excited to make it for us this year!

CHRISTMAS EVE
(at Websters)

Presents and more presents!

My girls with their stuffed dogs and carrying case. They love these!

Little boy that loves cars!

As you can see we acted it out twice on this Christmas eve. First at my parents then that night at my grandmas.

Jake and Jade as the wisemen!

Our little heavenly angels-Kenadee and Sage

I love this picture Bailee and Curtis as Mary and Joseph. The best is the look on Curtis's face I don't think he is quite sure about this!

BURNINGHAM CHRISTMAS PARTY
Meetin the BIG GUY
SANTA
Bailee above, Kenadee below
This is Jake's first time at meeting the big guy, he wasn't so sure when he showed up, so Jon had to wait in line with him and then after watching the other kids I guess he thought that he was safe.
Curtis
Hope you all had a great Christmas, I know we did and am sad to see it go so soon. On to another great year!!

Amy-
Your posts are so fun! I love the toilet pictures with Jake! You need to let me watch him again, he cracks me up! I don't get on very often and I hardly ever update mine, but seeing your makes me want to get to mine! It's fun to see your family outside of sacrament meeting! You have such a darling family! I am excited to do girls camp with you this year!!!

I love the praying before opening his present picture. Your kids are darling. I really like the idea of each kid lighting a candle and singing Happy Birthday to Jesus!!
