LAGOON FAMILY FUN!!

Jon's company took us to Lagoon for the day. They provided the entrance fee and also dinner that night. So we packed us a lunch and headed to Lagoon at about 10:30am and didn't end up getting home until 11pm. The kids had a great time, as you can tell.
Jake wasn't sure about any of the rides, he never cried, but you could never tell if he was having a good time or not. He must of enjoyed it because the minute you would get off the ride he would point to the ride and say "GO" so that's a good sign. He didn't like that he couldn't go on all the rides, but then again neither could my other kids. We aren't the tallest people ya know. So Jon would have to take turns on the ones where they weren't big enough to ride by themselves. It was a great time, even better that we didn't have to pay a dime!

More of Hawaii!!

I just realized that the pictures look really small so if you want to see them bigger just click on the pictures (the fire dancer pictures are awesome if you click to enlarge.) For some reason, and most likely it was operator error, but this wouldn't post with the others. I had to put this on though, because the temple is really the reason that Jon goes all the time. He is remodeling the entire temple. So if you are wondering why the outside is not as white as it should be is well because it's not. It is getting redone. This was a great trip. That first picture was the view from my room on the balcony. That is the beach that I spent most of my time at. Loved it!

Hawaii here we come!!

Jon works in Hawaii once a month for 4-5 days, so this time I actually got to go with him. We left the kids home with my counsin and her friend and left. Jon had to work all week so I hung out at the beach for 5-6 hours everyday just reading, snorkeling, swimming or sleeping. It was great. Would have been better to get to hang out with Jon, but I knew he would have to work the whole time. So Friday he took me to the Polynesian Culture Center. We weren't able to get to really walk around much because we didn't get there until 4pm and the Luau was at 5pm and then we got to see the night show. So here is a couple of the pictures from the Luau.
Here some pictures of the night show. I couldn't post them all so I just did a few so that you could see how awesome it was.
This was probably my favorite part of the entire show. Don't get me wrong the whole
show was amazing, but this was my favorite of the evening!!

Cabin fun and more parties!!

BEAR RIVER LODGE
WITH
THE WIGHT'S
JULY 10-13
We as a family own the two bedroom upstairs of the first cabin and then the 2 bedroom upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs of the second cabin. So every summer instead of our camping trips we now all get together up at the cabins to enjoy one another's company. What a grand old time!!
What an activity! The boys have discovered a cool new game to play. They get plastic spoons and then put little rocks on the spoon and then they flick the spoon to see how far they can throw the rocks. It kept them busy for hours it seemed. We just had to make a few ground rules that they couldn't hit the cabins or each other, or other people.
All of the four wheelers, we looked like a little army. We are all getting ready to go for a ride. I guess not all of us we had two new babies this year at the cabin. My sister-in law Katie and My sister-in law Kristin. So they stayed with their babies. I can honestly say I am glad it is not me anymore!

randma doing what she does best. Hanging out with a small portion of the grandkids. They were all watching the big boys (dads) play horseshoes. I think if I am not mistaken that Jon and Jason won 2 games and Drew and Tyler won 1, but I could be wrong.

SCAVENGER HUNT
Here we all are waiting for everyone to get together to start our first ever scavenger hunt. So hang on everyone and letsssssss goooooooo!!

This is the start of our scavenger hunt that Jon's sisters put together for the kids to do. It was fun watching their faces to try and figure out where they were going to be sent next.

Once we got the clue the kids had to do some sort of activity to be able to get the next clue. This is just a sampling of the pictures that I have just for the scavenger hunt. ENJOY!
Bailee got to read the next clue to tell us where to go. We had to ride the four wheelers to get to a lot of the places. We did places like the river, pool, garbage cans (not the most pleasant), pond, the wading area and the bridge to cross the river. It was a lot of fun!

This is what the prize at the end of the hunt was, grandma's big surprise box of goodies. The kids got to each pick two things from the box. This might have taken longer than the actual scavenger hunt. TOO MANY CHOICES!!
SWIMMING POOL
My little water bug just a swimmin with his daddy. What cuties they are!! The cabins just got a pool so all the kids thought that was great. It actually gave us something else to do. My opinion it needs to be a little warmer!

Hailey, Abby, Cole and Kenadee hanging out in the hot tub. The pool was only about 82 degrees so you had to keep moving to stay warm. So when the kids got cold they would go and sit in the hot tub.
This is Jon throwing Logan out of the water. The kids would stand on Jon's shoulders and he would go under water and then shoot up and send the rider flying!! Good thing that I have my new camera so that I could capture these great shots!!
Good dive Logan.
Happy Birthday Buddy!!
5 Years Old
This was Curtis's actual birthday. We seem to always be with Jon's family at the cabin over his birthday. He hasn't liked that at he's gotten older so that is why we did a big friend party for him before we left. Once we did the friend party he wanted to celebrate his birthday again at the cabin. So pretty much this kid will probably end up getting two parties for his birthday!!

He saw this underwater wakeboard when we were shopping for his cousins birthday and he wanted one. So Jon and I got this for him he was so excited to try it in the pool. Too bad that it was Sunday! He had to wait till he got home.
He loves to open presents!! That is all he talked about since the moment he woke up!
