"WICKED"LY wonderful trip

We (my mom, sister, and my grandma) got to go to L.A. over this last weekend to see WICKED. It was so awesome. We got to go to the show Friday night and we sat on row H and we thought that they would be awesome tickets, which it was really cool to sit that close to see their facial expressions, but we were left center on the isle on the left. We couldn't see the whole stage, so we loved the show so much that Saturday after we went to Universal Studios we came back and stopped at the box office and low and behold we bought tickets for Saturday nights show. Now if you want awesome seats we got them for Saturday. We got right center and this time we were two seats in from the center on row N. We could see the whole stage, and let me tell you it was absolutely awesome. I would go back right now if I could, and take my two girls, they would love it. It was a great vacation, I have such a great husband that he took care of everything at home and I never had to worry about him or the kids, he is amazing!! It is always hard to come home after vacation, and get back into the swing of things, but I wouldn't change my life for anything. I will post pictures when I get the copy of the pictures from my mom. We decided to only use one camera and then just make copies for everyone. So they will be coming shortly! Just to let those that LOVE wicked know it is coming to Salt Lake City in May 2009. I am already telling the girls that if they want to go that they have to start saving for at least half of there ticket, it would cost me a small fortune, but very worth it!

Our Birthday Boy!!

This is where Jake spent the first few days of his life. He was an amazing baby boy, he came out two months early and never ever had to be put on oxygen. He was a little miracle baby.
The binky really shows how small he really was when he was born. He was born at 3 lbs 7 oz. We couldn't believe it. The thing next to his head is his I.V. it was attached to his head at the time.
I got to have the chance to dress him. It felt like dressing a doll, he was so tiny. I felt like I had to be extra careful with him or he would break. He was so tiny. The tube coming out of his nose is how we used to feed him.

Very, very cute baby. He looks a lot like his older brother. When we saw him first, we immediately thought that he looked like the rest of them.
This was my hour of peace. I got to hold him and spend my whole time with just him, no one else to take my time, although it wasn't much time. I only got to be with him for one hour at a time.
We finally 2 1/2 weeks later get to take him home. It was probably one of the happiest days of my life. I never realized how draining not being able to take my baby home from the hospital could be. You miss a lot in the first couple of weeks, not I didn't realize until not being able to have my new baby home. You don't realize how fast life can pass you by. If makes me grateful everyday to be with my children.

This is our great big boy today. He is our 1 year old today, oh how time flies. Look how he has grown.

Swimming Adventure

Here is one of the little water bugs that we have. Curtis is crazy when it comes to swimming, he is not afraid of anything. Which is good and bad at the same time. He loves to swim, Don't worry Jon is next to him, we don't let him swim by himself.
Kenadee was hanging out in the lazy river section with Grandpa Frank. The kids have an absolutely wonderful time with their grandparents. Grandpa also took Kenadee down the waterslide. She thought that was awesome. She went down a couple of times.

Jake had so much fun in the water, didn't get any pictures of us in the water because I am the one that takes the pictures so Jake and I got out and fed him and then I was able to take pictures of the kids and Jon. We went to the South Davis Rec Center and went swimming with Jon's family for our Wight Easter party.

Moab Trip with Mom & Dad

Th
This is of Bailee and Jon riding the four wheeler, she is our little adventerous one, she loves to go fast and to go over the jumps. I am the more cautious driver so I usually get Kenadee on the back of me. The next picture is of our lunch spot. The perfect spot just all rock. The temperature was absolutely perfect, cool enough to wear a sweater, but warm enough to take it off when you stop. The four kids are all laying in there bed in the trailer. Jake usually has his own bed but the kids wanted him to lay and watch the movie with them for awhile. We have a lot of fun with the trailer, it has been probably the best thing that we could get to spend time with our family.

Jake found the toilet paper

If Jake knows that the bathroom door is open he immediately crawls as fast as his little legs will let him. I didn' t realize until I heard his talking and went to find him and lo and behold he found the roll of toilet paper and he was having the time of his little life. I am new at this blogging thing, so I don't know how to change the way the pictures go, so bear with me.
