4th of July Camping Trip

We decided to go camping over the 4th with my sister Michelle and her family, then my mom, dad and Grandma. We decided to leave on Thursday head to Soapstone set up the trailers and then go to the Oakley Rodeo that night, then the rest of the weekend just hang out and have some fun with cousins and family, and of course riding the 4-wheeler. Well we started out and we headed towards Morgan and the truck started to have some problems so we pulled off the off ramp into Morgan and that is where all the fun started. We got off the freeway and we noticed that we were smoking out the tail pipe. Well this was not just a little smoke this was a ton of black smoke and then a ton of white smoke. Well along with all of this smoke we had no power to drive the truck. We fortunately right by a ford dealership and so I had to get out of the truck and stop traffic getting on to the freeway, because we with our truck, with the 4-wheeler on the back and the trailer were blocking the on ramp. Well needless to say we made it over to the dealership and well when we got there and all the smoke coming out of the truck they knew immediately what was wrong. We apparentely blew a head gasket, and something else major that the dealership still has our truck and we could possibily be getting a whole new engine. Well as you can probably guess we didn't make it on our camping trip. We had to call Jon's sister and her husband to come pick up our trailer for us. We did make it to the rodeo, we rented a car and I was glad because the kids were at least happy about that. It turned out to be quite the weekend, one that we will always remember!

That kind of stinks, about your truck, but at least you made it to the rodeo!! I hope that everything works out okay with the truck...I hate seriously hate cars...even when they are new they are so much work (and by work-I mean that my husband has to work that much harder to pay it off)
